The Aphasia House Foundation was created primarily to ease the financial burden on AQPA. Based on its annual income, it makes donations in currency that meet the needs of the AQPA members or represent the 3.5% quota required by the Canada Revenue Agency. 40th anniversary of the AQPA: $32,000 in collaboration<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The 40th anniversary of the AQPA was enthusiastically celebrated by the AHF, which devoted nearly 700 hours to the event.<\/p>

La pr\u00e9sidente, President Guylaine Le Dorze volunteered to give a lecture as part of the Crossword Puzzle on Aphasia meetings, which was posted online and presented to participants.<\/b> a donn\u00e9 b\u00e9n\u00e9volement une conf\u00e9rence dans le cadre des rencontres Mots crois\u00e9s autour de l\u2019aphasie <\/em><\/a>qui\u00a0 fut mise en ligne et pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e devant les participants.<\/p>

Administrator Michelyne Hubert led a group of people with aphasia to identify the slogan of the event at the 40th anniversary preparatory committee and launched the Crossword Puzzle on Aphasia meetings. She also recorded this event and edited the video.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Executive Director Louise Bourbonnais designed and produced the show 40 Years of History and Life as Told to the Little Prince Visiting Planet Aphasia, in collaboration with the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre aphasique, the Ch\u0153ur de l'aphasie, and stage manager Michel Bourgoing. She conducted documentary research and assisted the stage manager in editing the videos. She was also responsible for promoting the 40th anniversary and producing the souvenir program.<\/p>

The AHF obtained free participation in Laval University's design class on the AQPA's branding thanks to a video designed and produced by Louise Bourbonnais and Camille Havas (valued at approximately $500, in addition to deliverables provided free of charge by Laval University estimated at $5,000.<\/p>

Ten tickets to the play MAURICE, presented at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre d'aujourd'hui valued at $210 were donated to the AQPA for its members.<\/p>
