The Aphasia House Foundation was created by the AQPA to ensure its sustainability, to support its projects and development, and to provide people with aphasia with a living environment adapted to their needs.
Through subscription campaigns and various other fundraising methods, the Aphasia House Foundation solicits and receives donations, legacies or any other type of contribution, particularly in money, securities or real estate. It administers these assets with a view to making them grow.(Mrs. Sophie De Corwin, a great donator. donatrice.)
The House of Aphasia Foundation provides funds to the AQPA to support its essential activities and services, particularly when they are not financed by government grants or other donors. In doing so, it supports activities promoting the social participation of people with aphasia and their loved ones.
Despite the abandonment of the Convergence Griffintown housing project with which the Foundation was associated, the administrators are staying the course. They are pursuing their efforts and will keep you regularly informed of the development of this housing project, which we hope will come to fruition
